Hi there folks,

well what a summer that was! I have had such an amazing time gigging with Jenn Butterworth, The Shee, Kinnaris Quintet and The Daddy Naggins, as well as getting married and having a great big adventure to Vietnam and Japan with my husband! I also got to revive the music I co-wrote with Simon Tarrant for Caty Wompus, a dance piece set to original, bluegrass style music. I really loved getting to do something different with such a lovely team.

For the rest of 2017 I will mainly be focusing on getting back to teaching my wonderful classes at Glasgow Fiddle Workshop and Falkirk High, as well as a few gigs which you can see below, as well as working on some new material with Kinnaris  Quintet for our 2018 gigs.

Today was spent reharsing with The Shee and friends ready for our upcoming gig at Na Trads 2017. We are really excited to be playing at the event which we always go and have so much fun at, and that we get to do it with an extended line-up. Keep your eyes peeled on BBC Alba to see it!
